The Lizard's Happy Day

Yes, a muddy lizard swam suddenly on a wave.  But it got windy and the waves got too rough.  And he decided to swim to a nearby island.  It turned out that it was his home island.  All of his family yelled 'welcome home!" and the lizard was very happy.

Book Report on A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

A Christmas Carol was written by Charles Dickens in 1843. This book is about a man named Scrooge who does not like anything about Christmas.

It starts when the ghost of his partner Marley tells him that three spirits (ghosts) will visit him and tell him what Christmas is about.  When the first ghost visits him it shows him Scrooge's past Christmas.  Then when the next ghost visits it shows him Christmas present.  Finally the third ghost shows him Christmas future. And then the last chapter shows what happens to Scrooge after his experience with the ghosts

And I like at the end where he finally truly understands and celebrates Christmas.
But I don't like how long the chapters are.  I would read it again.

What we can do to help end poverty

We can buy less stuff, recycle more, build water pumps when there is a drought, provide disaster relief, grow food in poor countries, bring materials to build infrastructure in some countries, and give people an education.  We can tell the people who own big companies to pay their workers more, stop making stuff made to break, and stop making us want more and more stuff with advertisements.

The Frog‘s Big Road Trip

The fat frog ran quickly to Idaho.  But it began to rain and he said “I want to dry off.”
And he ran to Oregon, Michigan, New York, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, and finally Ontario and it was dry!  As soon as he was dry he jumped into the pond.  And he said “Ahh, that was a nice and tiring road trip.”

Review on Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, of 1809. One day he slipped from a log into the creek! But his friend helped him. And another day he got kicked by a horse! And when he moved to Illinois he became good with an ax. And one evening they found out that their cow got milk fever, and soon his mother got milk fever!


And when he grew up, he ran for the legislature and married Mary Todd.  He led the war and set slaves free!  And he won the race for the president.


We remember this person because he was a humble president.  He wrote the Gettysburg Address.  He led the United States in Civil War.  He set the slaves free!
