A Native American Story

Pouring Snow, a 7 year old Native American boy who lived in the woods a long time ago, ran out of food to eat. He went out and hunted for deer. He missed the deer with his arrow. Instead he hit a squirrel. He went home and ate the squirrel. The next time he ran out of food he watched where he was aiming.

1. They had a hard time living when the white people came.
2. Alot of them died.
3. They lived in longhouses and tepees.
   
4. They have names like Snow or Rain.
5. They had different kinds of soup and fry bread.
6. They hunted deer and they grew vegetables.
7. They had maple sugar candy.
8. Some of them lived up North.
9. They wear bonnets with feathers on them.
10. Their clothes are made out of deerskin.
